Coffee Drink Calorie Calculator
Build your drink component by component โ milk type and ounces, syrup pumps, sugar, whipped cream โ and see the estimated calories update live. Every rate is editable, and nothing you enter leaves your browser.
๐ How it works & FAQWhat your coffee order really costs in calories
Black coffee is nearly calorie-free โ everything else in your cup is where the numbers add up. This calculator builds your drink the way a barista does: pick a milk and how many ounces go in, count the syrup pumps, add sugar by the teaspoon, and top it with whipped cream if that's your style. The total updates live as you adjust each component, with a breakdown showing exactly where the calories come from. A 16 oz latte with whole milk and three pumps of vanilla lands in a very different place than the same drink with almond milk and one pump โ and seeing that side by side makes swaps easy to plan.
Every rate is editable. Milk defaults are typical per-ounce values (whole 18, 2% 15, skim 12, oat 16, almond 4), syrup pumps default to about 20 calories each, sugar to 16 per teaspoon, and whipped cream to roughly 80. If your coffee shop publishes different numbers, type them in and the math follows. All figures are estimates only, not medical or nutrition advice; actual calories vary by brand, recipe, and pour.

FAQ
- How many ounces of milk are in a typical latte?
- A 12 oz latte is usually 8โ10 oz of milk plus espresso; a 16 oz is around 12โ14 oz. Cappuccinos use less milk and more foam.
- How many syrup pumps do coffee shops use?
- Commonly 3 pumps in a 12 oz drink, 4 in a 16 oz, and 5 in a 20 oz โ one reason large flavored drinks climb fast.
- Why does oat milk have almost as many calories as whole milk?
- Most barista oat milks add oil and sugars for texture and steaming, so they land near 16 calories per ounce despite being plant-based.
- Is my drink data stored anywhere?
- No. Everything runs in your browser โ nothing is uploaded, tracked, or saved.
