Stamp your name or copyright onto any photo in seconds โ it all happens in your browser, so your image is never uploaded.
๐ How it works & FAQProtect your photos with a text watermark
A watermark is a simple way to mark a photo as yours before you post it online. Whether it is a copyright line, your shop name, a website URL, or a "proof" stamp on client previews, a light text overlay makes it harder for others to pass your work off as their own โ and it reminds viewers where the image came from. This tool draws your text straight onto the picture using an HTML canvas, so the watermark becomes part of the exported image.
Everything stays on your device
Your photo is loaded, drawn, and downloaded entirely inside this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded to a server and no copy is kept, which makes it safe for personal snapshots, product shots, and client work alike. Because the work happens locally, it is also fast โ the preview updates the moment you drag a slider or change the text.
How to use it
- Click the file box and choose a photo (JPG, PNG, or WebP).
- Type your watermark text โ a name, "ยฉ 2026", or a URL.
- Pick a spot on the 9-position grid, from top-left to bottom-right.
- Adjust font size, color, and opacity until the preview looks right.
- Click Download watermarked photo to save the finished PNG.
FAQ
- Will the watermark reduce my photo quality?
- The image is exported at its original pixel dimensions as a PNG, so resolution is preserved. Only the watermark text is added on top.
- Can I make the watermark see-through?
- Yes โ lower the opacity slider. Around 30–60% keeps your mark visible while letting the photo show through.
- Why does my text look small on a big photo?
- Font size is set as a percentage of the image width, so it scales with any photo. Raise the size slider for a bolder stamp.
- Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
- No. All processing happens in your browser and the image never leaves your device.
