Merge PDF

Join several PDFs into a single file — reorder them however you like, all without your documents ever leaving your device.

📖 How it works & FAQ

Add two or more PDF files, drag to reorder, then merge. Everything stays on your device.

Combine PDFs without the hassle

Whether you are stitching together scanned receipts, assembling a report from separate chapters, or bundling a batch of invoices, Merge PDF joins any number of PDF files into a single clean document. There is no page limit, no watermark, and no account to create. Because the whole process runs inside your web browser using the pdf-lib engine, your files are never uploaded to a server — they stay entirely on your own computer.

Order is everything

The final document follows the exact order shown in your list, top to bottom. After adding your files you can move any of them up or down, or remove one entirely, until the sequence is right. Then merge in a single click and download the result. Add more files at any time and they simply append to the end of the list.

How to use it

  1. Click the file box and select two or more PDF files (hold Ctrl or Cmd to pick several at once).
  2. Use the up and down arrows to arrange them in the order you want them combined.
  3. Remove any file with the ✕ button, or click "Clear all" to start over.
  4. Press "Merge PDFs" and wait a moment while the pages are copied.
  5. Click "Download merged.pdf" to save the finished file to your device.

FAQ

Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. All merging happens locally in your browser. Your PDFs never leave your device, which makes this safe for private or confidential documents.
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
There is no fixed limit. You can combine as many files and pages as you like, though very large batches will use more of your device's memory and take a little longer.
Will the merged file keep its formatting?
Yes. Pages are copied exactly as they appear in the original files, preserving text, images, and layout. The page order matches your list.
Can it merge password-protected PDFs?
It can open many lightly encrypted files, but PDFs locked with a strong password may fail to load. Remove the password first, then merge.
