Why do the live days and calendar days sometimes differ?: The live timer counts full 24-hour blocks from this exact second. Calendar days count midnights between today and your trip date, which matches how most people count "days to go" and "sleeps".
How are weekends counted?: The tool counts every Saturday after today up to and including your trip date. A trip that starts on a Saturday still counts that weekend, since you can use it to travel.
Does it handle time zones?: The countdown uses your device's local clock. If you are counting down to a flight in another time zone, enter the departure time in your own local time for an exact result.
Can I count down to something other than a vacation?: Absolutely — weddings, graduations, retirement, a lease ending. Any future date works the same way.
