Vinted Fee Calculator
Work out exactly what you will pocket from a Vinted sale. Sellers pay no Vinted fees โ buyers cover the Buyer Protection fee โ so your profit is simply your price minus what the item cost you and any postage you choose to cover.
๐ How it works & FAQHow Vinted fees work for sellers
Vinted is unusual among selling platforms: sellers pay no selling fees at all. There is no listing fee, no commission, and no payment processing charge taken from your side of the sale. Instead, Vinted adds a Buyer Protection fee on top of your price, and the buyer pays it at checkout. That means the price you set is the amount that lands in your Vinted balance once the sale completes.
Your real profit is therefore simple: item price minus what the item cost you, minus any postage you choose to cover yourself. In most Vinted sales the buyer pays postage too, so many sellers keep the full asking price. This calculator also includes an editable seller fee field, defaulting to 0%, so it stays useful if Vinted ever changes its model or your region works differently. Fee figures are approximate defaults you can edit; check the platform's current fees; estimates only, not financial advice.

FAQ
- Does Vinted really charge sellers nothing?
- Correct โ Vinted currently takes no commission from sellers. The Buyer Protection fee, typically a small fixed amount plus a percentage, is added on top of your price and paid entirely by the buyer.
- What is the Buyer Protection fee?
- It funds refunds, secure payments, and support if an order goes wrong. Buyers see it at checkout; it never comes out of your payout.
- Should I raise my price because buyers pay extra on top?
- Be careful โ buyers compare the total they pay, including Buyer Protection and shipping. Price competitively on the final buyer cost, not just your listing price.
- Why is there a seller fee box if Vinted charges 0%?
- Platforms change their fees. The box defaults to 0% but is editable, so you can model a future fee or compare Vinted against a marketplace that does take a cut.
